Dr. Alvin Pettle Audio CDs
"An army can be defeated, but not an idea whose time has come."
Bio-Identical hormones are here to stay. We have been using
them in our practice since 1994.
We should all really thank Suzanne Somers for putting a face
to bio-identical hormones. After she appeared on the Larry King show in 2004
to talk about her book, "The Sexy Years", patients flooded the phone lines to
their doctors and asked their doctors to learn about bio-identical hormones.
Meanwhile, the Women's Health Study was released confirming the risk factors
associated with taking synthetic HRT drugs in 2002. Forty doctors called me
for more information and this is the lecture I gave them on April 21, 2004. I
thank my patients for opening my eyes to the value of natural bio-identical
hormones to women's health.
I dedicate this CD to my wife, Carol Pettle: "Without you, there not be me."
...This is my personal favourite CD because it is personal
to me and my life. As you may know, Rabbi Harold S. Kushner wrote a book,
"When Bad Things Happen To Good People." The book helped me spiritually when
I lost my mother to breast cancer in 1985 and I read the book again when my
son, Adam, at age 21, was diagnosed and then successfully treated for thyroid
cancer.
On this CD, I discuss both his thoughts and mine about
dealing with life's journey, especially some of the more stressful times.
There are 2000 people in the audience and you could have heard a pin drop.
I dedicate this CD to my father, Roy Pettle - rest in peace,
my father.
